The Rae Bareli police on Friday registered an FIR against a Village Development Officer (VDO) and three others for their alleged involvement in the issuance of counterfeit birth certificates on a big scale. The accused VDO, identified as Vijay Singh Yadav, reportedly issued a staggering 19,184 fraudulent certificates, even for areas beyond his jurisdiction, in collusion with three operators of a common service centers (CSC) sewa kendras. At the same time, the police have also arrested an accused named Zeeshan in this case.
रायबरेली पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को एक ग्राम विकास अधिकारी (वीडीओ) और तीन अन्य के खिलाफ बड़े पैमाने पर फर्जी जन्म प्रमाण पत्र जारी करने में कथित संलिप्तता के लिए एफआईआर दर्ज की. आरोपी वीडीओ की पहचान विजय सिंह यादव के रूप में हुई है, जिसने कथित तौर पर एक कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर (सीएससी) सेवा केंद्रों के तीन संचालकों के साथ मिलीभगत करके अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र से बाहर के क्षेत्रों के लिए भी 19,184 फर्जी प्रमाण पत्र जारी किए. वहीं, इस मामले में पुलिस ने जीशान नाम के एक आरोपी को भी गिरफ्तार किया है.
