UP CM Yogi Adityanath addresses Sambhal violence; slams opposition in state assembly

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while giving a statement in the state assembly on the Sambhal issue emphasised that a judicial commission will be formed on the violence and its report will be put before the state legislators.

“On court’s orders, the meaning of zila head? the administrative head of the area…police head? the person who heads the police force of the area…their responsibility is in a peaceful manner a survey should be conducted and to implement the court order,” CM Adityanath said.

On November 24, during a second round of survey, protesting locals clashed with security personnel, leading to a major violence which led to death of four people and injuries to dozens.
