BJP’s Bansuri Swaraj Casts Her Vote Along With Her Father In Delhi | Lok Sabha Elections 2024



Bansuri Swaraj, the BJP candidate from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat, cast her vote at a polling station in Delhi. Her father Swaraj Kaushal also voted.

Earlier today, Bansuri Swaraj offered her prayers at the Jhandewalan. She is pitted against AAP’s Somnath Bharti.

Voting for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls begins on 58 seats in seven states, including Delhi. Polling is underway in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, all 10 seats in Haryana, seven seats in Delhi, eight seats each in Bihar and West Bengal, six seats in Odisha, four seats in Jharkhand and one seat in Jammu and Kashmir.

Simultaneously, polling is also being held for 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha. Several prominent candidates such as Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Rao Inderjit Singh and Krishan Pal Gurjar, BJP’s Maneka Gandhi, Sambit Patra, Abhijit Gangopadhyay, Manohar Lal Khattar and Manoj Tiwari, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and Congress leaders Deepender Singh Hooda, Raj Babbar and Kanhaiya Kumar.

The Election Commission has directed officials to take adequate measures to manage the adverse impact of hot weather or rainfall in states where rainfall has been predicted. Votes will be counted on June 4.
