नागरिकता संशोधन बिल पिछले कई सालों से भारत में एक विवादित कानून के तौर पर अपनी पहचान बना चुका है। भारत में मौजूद लाखों मुसलमान और अन्य संप्रदायों ने इस नागरिकता संशोधन बिल के लिए कई कुर्बानियां दी हैं मगर फर्क केवल इतना हैं कि बहुत से लोगों ने नागरिकता संशोधन कानून रूकवाने के लिए तो बहुतों ने लगाने के लिए । इसी नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के तहत भारत में रहने वाले लाखों बाहरी मुसलमानों को नागरिकता न देना और इसके बजाय बाहरी हिन्दुओं को नागरिकता दी जाएगी। मौजूदा समय में नागरिकता संशोधन कानून भारत के बहुत से क्षेत्रो में लागू हो चुका है मगर देखना ये होगा कि आखिर भाजपा इसे पूरे ज़ोरो – शोरो से लागू कब करेगी ।
The Citizenship Amendment Bill has made its mark as a controversial law in India for the last several years. Lakhs of Muslims and other communities in India have made many sacrifices for this Citizenship Amendment Bill, but the only difference is that many people sacrificed to stop the Citizenship Amendment Act while many others sacrificed to implement it. Under this Citizenship Amendment Act, millions of foreign Muslims living in India will not be given citizenship and instead foreign Hindus will be given citizenship. At present, the Citizenship Amendment Act has been implemented in many areas of India, but it remains to be seen when the BJP will implement it with full vigor.
