HM Amit Shah Inaugurates Cargo Gate ‘Maitri Dwar’ New Passenger Terminal At India-Bangladesh Border



On October 27, Union Home Minister Amit Shah officially opened the recently built passenger terminal building and a cargo gate called “Maitri Dwar” at the Land Port at Petrapole, West Bengal, which is located on the India-Bangladesh border. Facilitating international trade and crossings for Indian and Bangladeshi citizens is the goal of the passenger terminal. It will greatly improve regional infrastructure, housing immigrants and processing 20,000 passengers daily.
