UK general election: Reform UK’s Nigel Farage becomes MP | BBC News

Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage, wins in Clacton – with the Conservatives in second place.

It is his eighth attempt to become a member of UK parliament, after failing seven times before.

Farage is the second Reform UK candidate to win, after Lee Anderson took Ashfield earlier.

Labour has won a landslide victory in the UK general election, according to the exit poll, meaning Keir Starmer will be the new prime minister.
